Vehicle Detail

well this is the third time listing this car, after this, if it does not sell, it will be up for parts! I am going to dismantle it and part it out, keep what I want and junk yard the rest. ashame though, cuz it is in such awsome condition and shape, I want it off my insurance and out of my driveway. First person with $1500 can drive it home! that will be one less of these cars on the road.I do have the right to end this auction early as it is forsale locally as well. Thankyou for checking out this car. First off they made only 2000 of these cars...thats it. In 1989 + 1990= 2000 cars. I found them gem sitting and was neglected for about 6 or 7 yrs. My wife fell in love with it so I bought it. I spent the winter fixing this car and working on it. I put lots of time and money/parts into this car to bring it back to the living. Inside the car is near mint! pics will show! no saggy headliner here! however the sunroof cover headliner is saggy but i keep that slide back so you never see it. has working H.U.D. Heads Up Display. read very clearly and its cool! It did not have a stereo so I installed a DVD/CD player with a 7" touch-screen display for tunes! no hack job...I used the factory wire harness and bought the adapter plugs to wire it into the factory wire harness. I AM ALSO INTERESTED IN TRADES FOR A MOTORCYCLE!!!!! SEND PICS AND DISCRIPTIONS All tan interior, leather seats with dark grey trim and black. As you can see I have seat covers on the front seats for protection. This car have never been smoked in! find that anywhere else. 4speed auto(overdrive) smooth shifting! All new trans fluid, and filter, and flush. new oil and and filter. Upper and lower intake gaskets have been replaced( for those of you who know these GM 3.1 motors and the upper and lower intake gaskets...ya GM did not use good gaskets.) complete coolant fush! heater hose has been replaced and there is signs of a coolant leak with the green color on the radiator but I pressure tested it and found nothing. new 180 degree t-stat. Upgraded turbo from the stock T-25 to a T-28 turbo. Can return the stock T25 if needed. this car has only 105468 miles!!!!! and its a 1990! how cool is that! Has new rear brake calipers and some hard brake lines with new brake fluid. have new rubber brake hoses for the car but did not need them but will go with the car. new brake pads, could maybe use new brake rotors but not needed so I did not buy new ones. Turn the key and start it up and hold on! The factory boost controller does not work so I installed a manual boost controller and set it for 5lbs of boost. Will smoke the tires!, once in a while I turn it up to 10lbs of boost and it makes me smile alot! I dropped the gas tank and installed a 255LPH fuel pump. and cleaned and sanded the fuel tank and sprayed rubberized undercoating on it. As you can see I replaced the stock rear exhaust. it has dual exhaust and I still have the factory mufflers so that I still have the factory exhaust tips, just in case...you cannot find those tips anywhere. I have glass packs with chrome tips welded in place for the exhaust. sounds very nice without being the noise maker on the block. Brand new Battery! new Bosch platinum plugs and wires. new coil packs and spark modulator. (the item the coil packs mount to...thats what I call it) All power options work! windows, locks, sunroof that power slides back into the roof or pops up for venting. lighted vanity mirrors, map lights under the rearview mirror. I also installed a boost guage that lights up red just like the rest of the dash lights, blends in with the car very nicely. The digital compass works as well as the information center and all related buttons and info you need to know, like MPG, average MPG and instant MPG and distance till you need more gas, reads out the date and direction of travel also tracks when you need to change fluids like the oil...this is ver cool stuff and top of the line back in 1990. I suppose I could go on and on and I know I am forgetting something but please ask any questions you may have, it you ask me a question that I answered in this discription I will reply calling you a lazy POS. It does need a paint job. as well all know GM did not use good paint back in those days, pics will tell more than my words. I also took pics of the only known rust, its on the hood. it has scratches and some dints here and there is has been around for 22yrs. It was under a car port with the previous owner and the port fell onto the car, I tried to take good pics of the small dents it left but as you can see its not bad cuz they barely show. I am not a body man but I did get it running sweet and driving sweet so repaint the car and it would be very awsome! it really needs a paint job. The dash has the usual problems( very known thing with these GM dashes) the analog speedo is not accurate nor is the tach. the temp guage does not move and no the car is not over heating, I replaced the temp sensor but the issue is in the instrument cluster. fuel, oil, boost, gauges all work. the "low fuel light" stays on even thought it has a full tank and therefore the "check guage light" stays on because of it. and the brake light stays on...again the instrument cluster is at fault for all these thing. as for knowing how fast your going the digital heads up display reads clear and accurately for your speed. Has all different little air bags in both front seats to custom fit yourself to the seats. power drivers seat. real bucket seats in the rear! very cool. with built in cup holders. power steering light a cadillac! AC does not work, but heat does! cruz in not working, still looking into that, did replace the cruz control pump but did not fix, thinkin its in the switch. the horn works and is not a cheesy toy horn...its loud and loud! I drive this car to work alot and go cruzin in it around town and to car shows, cuz its cool just needs paint and some body work for the dents. So with that being said the milage will change. I drive this car in trips sometimes that are 300 mile round trips. cruzes very nicely, very smooth and if you need to pass someone....you can! But hey now your wondering why I want to get rid of it. well like I said, I bought it for my wife, well now X-wife. its in my name with a clear title and I no longer want it and she aint getting it. so thats her loss and your gain! so please come get it and cruz home in it. NO TRAILER REQUIRED, DRIVE IT HOME YOURSELF! and watch how people look at you when you cruz by then, cuz 99% of everyone out there does not know what they are looking at with this car. although random people do come up to me ans ask about it and tell me "thats a nice car" and I always get the same line..they say " I never knew they made a car like this, and what is McLaren and what does that mean?....lol I love it!!!!!! Oh well thanx for looking and reading my book here but I really want to be up front and honest about this car. It deserves someone who will repaint her and continue to love her. Also I have more pics that I can try to send you, like I said try...don't know how big of a zip file you can send via email...but I can figure something out. THANX!!!
