I purchased this gorgeous Mercedes roadster a little bit over a year ago from the second owner . It was meant to be my weekend fun car and a long term investment . But between my busy work schedule , 5 other cars and my 4 year old son i never get to take it out anymore . I only put on a little bit over 200 miles within the last year . It does live a very pampered life like this , but it needs to be driven to really be appreciated . So here it is on Ebay . After taking possession of the SL last year , i had it gone through by my mechanic . It did not need much . He changed all the fluids and filters , re-sealed the transmission and installed a new battery . The plastic windows on the original soft-top were starting to get faded , so i also had a brand new german canvas top installed . The body and and the paint already were in very nice condition , as you can see in the pictures . The interior is also very clean . There are no rips or tears in the seats , the carpets are clean and even the wood is still very beautiful without the common cracks or chips . This SL also comes with the rare back seat option . The Palomino color interior is a great contrast to the jet black paint . It really is a gorgeous car . But the best thing about it is the way it drives . It always starts up right away and with the huge V8 engine it has lots of power . It is easy to "cruise" with 130 mph all day long or running errands in town . Even after 26 years it still is a very elegant car and i did get a lot of thumbs up whenever i drove it . I also do have the original black hard-top for it and it comes with a stand for storage .  If you do have any questions or if you would like to set up an appointment to see it , feel free to send me a note and i will respond quickly and honestly .
