1965 Studebaker DAYTONA 2 door Sport Sedan Vehicle Description: You are bidding on a 1965 Studebaker Daytona 2 door Sport Sedan. One of only 1,626 Sport Sedans produced and just a few of these were made with unusual (1 year only) Sienna Red paint. This car has its Original 283 Chevy V8 engine available in 1965-66. White vinyl top and bucket seats. Auto transmission and power steering. Distributor converted to electronic ignition. Rebuilt carburetor.Speedo reads 8,825 miles which is really 108,825 miles. Tires have 80% tread left. New solid state voltage regulator and new coil. New air filter, oil filter, and fuel filter. New transmission filter, gasket and fluid. Nice dash, headliner and vinyl top.Front seat has tears while the back seat is very nice.Runs and drives fine but smokes some when driven.There are a few places with rust in fenders, rocker panels, and lower left corner of trunk but is mostly solid.Has dents on trunk lid and a few other areas after 47 years of use.Has original production order and owner manual.Drive or restore as a unusual show car.
