We are re-listing this car because the high bidder turned out to be an Ebay flake. Please, no low feedback bidders. If you just have to have this car, and have low feedback, you must contact us first. The condition of this car is pretty good, considering the age. Car was a daily driver around Hollywood before parked several years ago. The are some tears in the upholstery, and on the door armrest as well as some interior sun damage. This car mostly original, and is UNRESTORED. A nice project car. I am starting the bidding at a place where I think anyone who has ever admired this model, and wants a valuable project at a great price. We believe that this could be a European version brought to the U.S. Needs bolts replaced for the steering box, and a new exhaust system. NOTE: This is a project car, and is not finished out. It mostly needs cosmetic work, except as noted above. Body is straight, and as far as is known, was never hit. With the steering box bolts replaced, and a thorough checkout, it could be driven now, as far as we can tell. NOTE: The engine runs. We had a mechanic spend a little time on it: he carefully cleaned and lubricated the fuel injection pump, and flushed the fuel injection system, and then got the engine running. A plastic part on the ignition switch is broken. "Does it run?" was a question that came up last time I put it on auction, and I didn't really know then.
