This is a 1997 Ford E-250 cargo van with the 5.4 liter Triton CNG V8 engine in a NO RESERVE AUCTION. Please note that this Van runs on CNG (COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS) ONLY; IT WILL NOT RUN ON REGULAR UNLEADED GASOLINE! It has: power steering, power brakes, anti-lock brakes, 4 speed automatic transmission with overdrive, am/fm stereo with casette, frosty cold air conditioning, GE 2 way radio, metal cage that seperates the front from the cargo area, plywood lined cargo area, 3 almost-new tires and 1 older one. The outside is in good shape; there is one dent in the side door but it does not effect drivability in nany way. The white paint is in good shape. Inside, the interior is also pretty good; it shows some signs of wear (mainly in the worn driver's seat) but overall looks pretty good. The vehicle runs, rides and drives very well! The engine and transmission are in great shape and I don't see any mechanical issues currently. This was a one-owner vehicle and was purchased new by the Kansas City, Missouri water department and has received regular maintenance it's whole life. Now, items that are not in great condition: the driver's seat is worn, the driver's side rear view mirror has cracks, the back door handle outside does not work (it opens fine from the inside), and the driver's door upper hinge has a flexing/breaking weld (it still operates fine but, will need attention soon. Please see close up picture I have included). I am including 17 large photos of the vehicle from every angle to give you a good idea of what it looks like. Acceptable forms of payment for the deposit are cash in person, cashier’s check, or money order. I reserve the right to end this auction early, but, will rarely exercise that right. Please keep in mind that we are selling USED cars and not new ones.
