This is a real 66 Pontiac Gto. With some work, it can either be a driver, or is also a great candidate for Restoration. It is a real Gto and originally came from the factory with 389, automatic, blue exterior white top, and blue interior. The top has been dyed black, and the interior is black. It looks to have been repainted once some years ago. This car has not been driven in some years ( not for sure how many) The lower quarters and fenders seem solid with some beginning rust. The floor pan needs work, and the trunk pan, and fuel tank brackets need to be replaced. There are rust bubbles under the vinyl top. This car has normal dings, and scratches for a car it's age. The bucket seats are very good condition, the rear seat is fair to good but the top seat has incorrect pattern( 67 gto). The head liner is fair condition and should be replaced, there is no package tray. It has a 1965 389 engine that runs, that has been installed, but the linkages, driveshaft, vacumm hoses, fuel lines, coolant lines, etc must be hooked up make the car drivable. The exhaust pipe flanges must be slightly modified also. ( previous eng had 3 bolt flanges, this eng has 2 bolts). The air cleaner is missing the base, the drivers side door has been replaced at one time, and the interior paint does not match. The carpet is newer, and in excellent condition. On the deck lid someone had decal letters installed, someone scratched the paint removing the decals. Drivers door needs adjusting, it sometimes binds with the fender when opened.
