This car is 100% original with the exception of a repaint done many years ago on top of the original paint. This car was optioned with the unique Porsche side script which gives it a cool touch. A top-end rebuild was done 6,000 miles ago or back in 1993. At this time all new transmission syncros were installed, new clutch pressure plate, and all new hoses and seals. The car has been driven on very special occasions up until 2003 when it was garaged for several years without being driven, but occasionally started. The car has all the original MFI in beautiful working order. Mechanically, the car is very sound. The calipers were rebuilt last year and new rotors installed. New battery was installed as well. The interior is all original with original carpet, dash, and seats. The original dash has multiple cracks from the sun. The original radio still works well. All the lights work. Structurally the car is very sound with the exception of the rear floor edges and the pedal box area. Pictures are attached to depict areas. The front pan is still the original pan and solid. It seems like I forgot to make a pic of the targa top. The top is all original but needs a new inner headliner installed. It has 4 newly refinished original 6x15 Deep Six Fuchs in MINT condition! They are brand new condition with the correct anodizing finish. Cosmetically, this car is presented as a very honest example of a desirable Orange 1970 911E Targa.! This isn’t a concours car, but a car you can hop and go tour with the top down (off) on a beautiful day. The car is all complete with the original spare wheel, Toolkit, jack, and owners manual. I also have all the paperwork/documents with the car. These early 911s are the purest form of the iconic 911 which effectively has driven the large desirability and collectability of these unique cars. This is a very cool car and is SO period correct of the crazy early 1970s era!! I have a free and clear title. On Jun-29-12 at 10:15:52 PDT, seller added the following information: The Netherlands just announced that Oldtimer cars (older than 30 years) can once again be imported into Rotterdam using the low 6% VAT rate and NO import duties as of July 1st, 2012! This is a drastic change from the 19% VAT that was put into effect January 1, 2011.
