Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1986 High Sierra. It sports a rebuilt 350 block (with about 9000 miles after rebuild) with new battery, fuel pump, fuel valve, fuel filter, alternator, undercoat, and brand spanking new 5 speed tranny (all paperwork-pictured). It was an auto but I converted it to 5-speed. New step up boards. Lifted with 35 inch all weather tires with less than 4,000 miles. This thing has more put into it than I'm asking, I didn't intend to sell, the next in line was a paint job and new interior. That's all it needs. Mechanically she runs like a champ, fires up every time. She's my daily driver and reliable as hell. The interior needs a stereo and seat is torn on the drivers side and she could use a fresh paint job. Very good body, with rust only on one spot behind the passenger door about a quarter in size. The paint is okay, but I would take it to a solid color, it has the classic two-tone they were sold with back then. I also just replaced the windshield which had a crack in it, so the weather stripping is all new too. Rear window has been replaced with sliding window so the rear window opens if you want. I'm selling because I found out I'm deploying and need to let it go. If you're local feel free to contact for a test drive, or if you're an out of towner I am willing to set up shipping somehow with you at your cost. thanks for looking, let me know if you have any questions. On Jun-27-12 at 21:51:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Up for sale is my 1986 High Sierra.
