1929 Ford Model A

Let me say from the start I am not an expert on this, but I know something about the history of this pickup...This Model A was running 20 years ago, the owner was in the process of completly restoring it, (body work, paint, fine tuning, etc.) but he passed away soon after he started. I still remember him driving by our farm and honking the horn like it was yesterday. This vehicle has been sheded for the last 20 years and has been moved to my garage. ALMOST everything is here, although I'm sure some parts are missing, but there are also extras as the original owner accumilated 4 Model A's and T's in various forms. So I will try to tell you all that is here and whatever else I can think of that would be viable information. Please, I insist you ask any questions you may have. Call me 701-360-2374. From what I can see the frame, suspension, transmission, and wheels are in very nice shape. The tires look new and have held air all these years and the all the rims have their caps. The fenders are all here and are in decent shape, the running boards and spare tire well show some signs of rust and metal loss. The cab needs some body work but is in decent shape. The door and window knobs are here and the glass is still in the doors on both sides. The back window is out but the holding frame is here. The box is also in decent shape and shows a little rust in places and of course the bottom is out. The windshield is broken but the unit is all there with frame. The seat and interior panels are here. The original Ford guages are here as well. I have two sets of headlights, 2 radiators in decent shape, as well as 2 metal radiator shields/covers with Ford emblems. The folding hood is also here. There is also a spare tire. The engine spins freely with the crank and I know it was running 20 years ago. I'm sure some smaller parts are missing as this pickup was in a garage that was literally piled to the ceiling with old stuff, it was hard to tell what went with what when we had to clean it out. I have extra parts that I'll let go with this vehicle that may or may not go with it. I live 7 miles from a major interstate highway for easy pickup from anywhere in the country. So if you are good at fixing these old vehicles it probably wouldn't take much to get this one on the road again. Again everything might not be here but, as I can see all the major stuff is here. I regret I don't know more about this vehicle but it is never my intention to represent any misgivings. There is no title so there will only be a bill of sale. On Jun-25-12 at 18:20:38 PDT, seller added the following information: I failed to mention there is an extra Model T or Model A frame that was with this. It is just a frame with the steering spindle on it. I have no use for just a frame so it will be part of the deal. I also have some other rims and wheels for sale in other auctions, but a deal could be worked out for those also if no one snatches them up. I am willing to work with anyone to make everyone happy. The Serial number in unreadable, my apoligies. The parts that will be missing are most likely going to be connected with the motor. I do not see a starter or generator and I'm sure some of the linkage between cab and motor are not here. I have a pile of stuff and extras that go with this pickup. I have had many calls regarding this auction and emails everyday so please don't hestiate to ask any further questions!
