Oklahoma barn find, has been off the road for many years. All original except for one repaint. Needs complete restoration.1950 Studebaker Champion Starlight Coupe. Has 6 cyl., 3 spd. with overdrive, radio, heater. I recently purchased this from an 87 year old gentleman and brought it home and cleaned it up. Not too many left in this condition. Great for restoring, rat rod, hot rod or just leave it like it is.The body is solid but does have some limited rust. Driver and passenger side floors are intact but have some holes, nothing big. Rear floors are nice. The trunk and spare tire recess have limited rust as seen in the pictures. It has various small dents that would be easy to fix, right rear quarter has a larger dent but also an easy fix. The doors and fenders line up nice. There is no evidence of bondo work. The paint job is bad, if it looks good in the photos don't believe it. Paint is by brush and spray can but kind of cool in it's own way. Original color was a nice blue-gray. The back wrap around glass is all good, the windshield and door glass have cracks, right door glass came off it's track. It has the original interior, also in poor condition. The pot metal is lightly pitted but shines up nice. Front bumper has a slight tweak and the rear has a more serious one. Left deck lid hinge is broken, one taillight is missing the other is broken. I have the keys for the ignition and glove box. The gas tank has been cleaned out and is solid. The tires are old bias ply. The brakes are down from sitting so long. The engine turns free and the car rolls nice. Needs 6 volt battery, remember this system is positive ground. Sold with a Bill of Sale. Please check my 100% positive feedback.
