You are bidding on a '39 Ford pick-up truck with a period hot rod engine. Engine equipment includes Edmonds heads and dual manifold with 2 Stromberg 97 carbs, a 3/4 cam of undetermined grind, Mallory electronic ignition, Red's headers, adjustable tappets. It has been converted to 12V electrics with a Powergen 12V alternator. 59BA engine has been bored .060 over. The 3 speed transmission has been rebuilt as has the rear axle, gears were changed to 3.54:1 for better highway cruising. Paint is fair and body work is 20 foot workmanship. The bed has numerous work type dents and the paint inside the bed is poor. There are bondo cracks in the paint around the gas cap. Tires are low mileage (7700 mi) bias ply Firestones, 600/16 front and 650/16 rear, spare is a 600/16. The bed has a full canvas cover that rolls to 1/2 length. Grill is NOS first used on this truck. Plates are 1939 California Worlds Fair edition.
