I purchased this Triumph 3 years ago from Springfield, Missouri where it allegedly sat for 15 years. Mileage is believed to be accurate. The engine was rebuilt in July 2010 and I have driven 6,000 miles since the rebuild mostly to car shows and local events. Car was stripped, primed and repainted British Racing Green just prior to the engine rebuild. Rebuild was carefully accomplished by members of the Panama City British Car Club. Transmission shifts smoothly throughout all four gears and reverse. Car runs nice and cool in hot Florida weather. Complete new exhaust system sounds like a British car. Not too loud but just right. Convertible top bows were removed, sanded, primed and repainted prior to installation of a new top and webbing. The heavy duty canvas Sunfast tan top was installed in July 2011. It has the reflective stripe as on original TR-6s. All brand new nylon carpeting kit installed and all new interior panels installed. No radio or speakers in the car. I just enjoy the sound of the car. All gauges and lights function properly. Nice wood steering wheel hand signed Dash wood is in excellent condition. Trunk is in great shape. Bumpers are very good but have never been rechromed 20W50 oil changed regularly and ZDDP used with each oil change.
