1970 Ford Torino Cobra 429 Cobra Jet 4 Speed - Very Rare Documented Cobra Jet with both Marti Report and Ford Report. A large file is also included with the sale that has alot of information.This is a matching numbers J Code 429 Cobra Jet 4 Speed. Factory Options include Ribbon Tach, 4 Speed Closed Ratio Trans.,Traction Lok Differential, Sport Slats, Console, Power front disc brakes, Power Steering, AM FM Stereo, Color keyed Racing Mirrors, Sport Wheel Covers. Car is painted in it's factory Ford Red color with Black interior. Paint is in nice condition and I would rate an 8 out of 10 with just a few blemishes and a few rock chips. Appears to be all original sheet metal. Engine and Transmission were recently rebuilt and all numbers were checked during the rebuild at a cost of over $5000. Engine bay was fully detailed at this time and a new clutch was installed. The underside looks in great condition. Tires are the Firestone Wide Oval Bias Ply in good condition and mounted on the Magnum 500 rims. Interior is in great condition with only one small tear on drivers seat (see picture). Trunk is in very good condition with no signs of rust. Radio is included but not currently installed. Factory exhaust manifolds are included but not installed. Factory carb. is also included but not installed. Currently has Holley Carb. and Hooker Headers that I decided to leave on because it runs so good. Overall a very rare matching numbers Torino Cobra.
