Ok here is deal on this 2002 Ford Focus LX. I bought this car from a place on a storage lien without keys or anything. I had the computer chip key made from the locksmith and went to jump it off and the starter won't even make any kind of noise. The locksmith has guaranteed me that the security key was correctly done and showed me the security light in the center of the dash was lit solid and not blinking. He said if it was blinking then the key was not working, but that solid meant it was receiving the key code. I believe him. So apparently the car has a problem with the starter or starter solenoid or relay or ignition switch or something to that nature. I checked all the fuses and that is as far as I got. Long story short, I was hoping this car would just start up and run perfect and have cold a/c and I was going to take it to straight to the body shop and have 2 fenders put on it, throw some hubcaps on it, and put it on craigslist for $2950 and send it down the road. Well, that didn't happen so here it is....I am not putting any effort into it as I have too many cars to spend this much time on one little cheapy like this one, but it's too nice to crush it and it won't take someone else too much time to have it back on the road and enjoying the savings from what you would have paid for one just like it. BODY CONDITION: Needs both front fenders replaced. The paint is actually pretty decent. I was not going to repaint the entire car, just the fenders and blend with the front bumper. The interior is actually in great shape. That is why I originally bought the car. It's easy to fix a few dents and make the car look good, but when the interior is trashed it is hard to make it a nice car again. This one is NICE! MOTOR CONDITION: One thing I always check for when buying cars that I can't hear run is all the fluid levels. If they don't have a full radiator or if there is no oil in it, chances are you have engine trouble. This one at least has all the fluids which doesn't guarantee anything either way....but being empty pretty much guarantees a major problem and at least you don't have that. TITLE: You will receive a CLEAN AND CLEAR TEXAS BLUE TITLE ON THIS VEHICLE. If you are from Texas, I will take the storage lien paperwork and transfer it directly into your name and you will pay tax only on the amount that you actually pay for the vehicle since I am a licensed Texas dealer. If you are NOT in Texas, I will take the storage lien paperwork and change it into a clean and clear Texas blue title in my company name at MY expense which takes 16 days for me to receive back from the state. You will then be handed the clean and clear title that will work to transfer it to your name in any state. This car will be sold to the highest bidder.
