Vehicle Detail
If you have been watching this you have seen it listed and removed a couple times. I have it for sale locally and I have had two different sales fall through. So I am now only trying to sell it through ebay and hope I have better luck. This 1997 Toyota 4runner Limited 4x4 is one of the most practical, reliable and the most unstoppable vehicle on the road. From the factory it comes with... Tan Leather, Power driver/passenger seats, tinted glass, power rear window, sliding sun-roof, rear heat, power locks, power windows and any other option that was available in 1997. It has 149,000 miles on it and it drives perfect. The engine is smooth with no knocks, ticks or hesitation. The transmission shifts like new. This has been very well maintained. This vehicle was bone stock 4 four months ago and was female owned and driven prior. We are the third owners. As for the aftermarket parts I will try to list everything I can remember. I have done every upgrade on the truck from the lift, to the custom bumpers, to the one of a kind bed liner paint job. The lift kit is a 3" all suspension lift by Old Man Emu also known as ARB. The springs and shocks are heavy duty versions made for the extra weight of the winch and custom bumpers so the vehicle drives virtually smoother than it did in its stock form. Also installed a Differential Drop kit from Toytec lifts so the cv shafts remain at the proper angles. The Bumpers are made from 1 3/4" .120 wall D.O.M. tubing. They have 3/4" Shackles on the front and rear and a custom winch plate mount. These bumpers are stronger than any other bumper on the market. It also came is a factory electronic rear locker from the factory and it works great. You can't get stuck in this rig. The winch is a Smittybilt XRC8 8,000lb. It is only about 2 months old and works perfectly. The tires are 285/75r16 Mud Claws. They have arond 5,000 miles on them and have been rotated three times since new so they virtually show no wear. The wheels are KMC XD Enduro 16x8" They are also only 3-4 months old. A Alpine CD player was just installed a couple months ago and is a multimedia cd so it plays ipod, pandora and has a Usb port. The pads and rotors were just replaced this morning withpremium parts. It has a Optima Yellow Top battery that is shock resistant and is neccessary for a winch. The paint is one of a kind Polyurethane bed liner and is bullet proof. The door jams were painted with SEM Hot Rod Black and look great. (The body did not have one spot of rust on it before it was painted.) All Fluids have been changed and this 4runner is ready to go. This Vehicle is just as good on road as it is off. We just got back from a trip to Toledo and it was very comfortable with the Ice cold a/c blasting in the 95 degree heat. We have never once abused it. We took it to one poker run and thats the most action it has seen off road. It has never been mudded, beat on or even been close to red line. This would be the perfect one of a kind family vehicle, Bad ass Off-Road Rig or just great all around daily driver/ weekend wheeler. Please if you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask. As you can tell by the length of this post, it has some sentimental value so please no low ballers. We will entertain some trade offers but must be close to the same value. Much much more than the asking price has been invested but everyone who builds a vehicle knows you don't get it back. This is a turn key unstoppable vehicle and the price reflects its reliability. Have included some more pictures. I tried to show it as detailed as I could. Some signs of wear are the rip in the left side bolster of the drivers seat, the passenger seat plastic where the power switch is located is loose so it falls down every once in a while, the passenger rear plastic on the floor near the door is cracked and missing a couple screws. I couldn't get a great picture but the inner cv boots are torn on both sides from not having a differential drop for the first month it was lifted. I have used gasket maker and duct tape to keep them together so they don't lose anymore grease but other than that they are fine. Like I said I tried to list everything I could about this truck so there should be no suprises for the buyer.
