Vehicle Detail
This is a 1959 Bentley S-2. it has the original Rolls Royce V-8 engine. This is needing restoration and is a project vehicle. I bought this car from Don Underhill in Tuscon Az, he was one of the original cast of the mickey mouse club mouseketeers. license plate used to read: mousktr. ebay won't let me put a link, so you can look up mickey mouse club cast : Don Underhill. the picture of the title is before I changed it to my name. when I got the car home, first thing I did was to get it running before I took it off of the trailer. it ran good on the old fuel that was in the tank. no missing or smoking. although the car needs the brakes bled or other brake work,"has NO brakes" I drove the car off of the trailer. the engine has plenty of power as it would spin out easily in my gravel driveway. I drove it back and forth a few times in the driveway. I shut it off and the next time I started it, the power steering wasn't working anymore and also the transmission wouldn't go into gear. I later was told that the power steering pump also is the pump for the transmission. so it needs the power steering pump rebuilt or ? the last time I tried to start it, the floats were sticking in the carbs because the electric fuel pump just kept pumping fuel into them and flooding the engine. this Bentley is 99.9% complete. the only thing missing is the radio. it was sent out for repair and never made it back in the car. the chrome is in great shape. the leather on the seats is in very poor dried out condition. it will tear easily . the wood interior parts are in good shape. the body is not bad but it does have a small amount of rust and someone slid down a hill in the snow and hit the right side causing the damage that you see in the pictures. this is a very thick steel body and would be easy to do body work on. PLEASE, first look at the pictures, figure out delivery, look at your bank account, and by all means, talk to the wife, then decide if this is for you BEFORE bidding. thanks. I might deliver for cost of fuel. please pay 500.00 via paypal within 48 hours . then payment can be made when you pick up. or if I deliver, payment must be paid in full before I leave.
