A true *****NO RESERVE***** barn find. This first year RX-7 was recently pull out from under a barn shed. It's been off the road since 2003. My son and I drained the old gas, cleaned the plugs, replaced the battery, checked the fluid levels, and fired it right up. Everything seemed to work as it should but we only drove it about two miles. We later put a tube in one of the tires that was "leaking" down. The best description of the car is a basic "driving project" but you'll want to replace the tires ASAP since they have some dry rot cracks. We noticed a small fuel line leak under the car where a "rubber" hose attaches to the metal fuel line coming from the fuel tank. There are also a few rusty spots on the hood. Overall the car looks pretty basic and complete but will need a complete restoration if you want a "mint" RX-7. Clear title in hand indicates the mileage was 176,000 when the car was acquired and titled in 1997. You are encouraged to come inspect the car before bidding. It's sold "AS IS" without any warranty whatsoever. Payment will need to clear my bank before the car will be released for shipping or hauling. I would not think it wise to attempt to drive it home becuase it's not passed a safety inspection and won't be road worthy without some additional going over it with a fine tooth comb.
