I have a 1986 mustang GT t-top car black with grey interior . It has 48,509 original miles. I bought this car back in 2005 from a Ford dealer that owned the car. This was the first car/mustang I ever had and wanted another to enjoy. I picked this one because it was clean and unmolested but, having kids is expensive and I need to pay the bills. I’ve put about 8-9k miles on the car over the years and it runs great! It has been sitting the last couple years and I would like to see someone enjoy it more than I am currently. I think the breaks need some attending to, they are there but a little soft. It has the original paint from 86 so could use a re-spray, but doesn’t look bad, it is a 26 year old car! There are some small surface rust spots, but nothing major. I took the power lock motors out as they weren’t working well (motors went)and bought new motors for it that are included. They just need to be installed. I liked the manual locks better so didn’t bother putting them in. The transmission has a second gear synchro issue, as many of these cars do. It will go into second but not smoothly. Shouldn’t be too expensive of a fix but want to let you know. An extra set of t-tops come with the car and original t-top bags are included as well. The dash board doesn’t have any cracks but it’s stained from sitting in the south Florida sun from time to time. I think it’s from all the armor all (not from me) that was put on it over the years. Someone might be able to clean it or just paint it. That’s all I can think of off the top of my head. This car realy just needs a good home and get some cosmetics taken care of to be a excellent car to show off. Almost forgot, I had the A/C system completely redone in 2005. Everything except to compressor was replaced with Ford parts and the compressor was professionally rebuilt to be retrofitted to R-134 freon. As the R-12 was very expenisive to keep.
