This Comet is a correct matching number car from the Ford script headlights to the original tail lights. ALL PANELS ARE ORIGINAL and there is no rust anywhere. Everything is date coded and correct. Probably one of the nicest original bodied Comets in existence. The car was restored (at a cost of $25,000+) and then parked in a museum for years. Incredible attention to detail from the flawless Pacific Blue paint, rechromed bumpers, polished stainless to the mint interior. EVERYTHING WORKS AS IT SHOULD! Electricals, mechanicals, performance, and safety items. The original radio was converted to play FM also but appears stock. The original glass is all perfect, all the locks work, turn signals cancel, horn blows and on and on. No excuses here! All the factory stamped ID tags are still there, transmission, differential, steering box and engine tag under the original coil. The original spare is still in the trunk with the original UNUSED jack and wrench. All the factory drain holes are perfect on the doors, rockers and quarters. Some of the original red oxide primer is still visible where the undercoating has flaked off. The car is ready for judging at local or national levels. ALL THE FLUIDS HAVE BEEN DRAINED, FLUSHED AND REPLACED so if you simply want to drive it, it's ready. If you are fussy and like to have the best, please come see this car, you will be impressed.
