1967 Austin Healey Sprite Race Car 1275 Fresh SCCA/ Sovren race prepped. Wonderful turn key ready. Comes with log book and street legal. Washington title and ready for road or track. Nicely sorted and affordable. Please find below more details about the specifics. Current owner has rebult this car from the ground up. The body is solid and original. The engine has been completely rebuilt with Cooper S rods, new pistons, new crank, and the block has been tanked with receipts to prove. All the wiring has been redone and a proper switch panel with fuses has been installed. The car also has a brand new clutch with slave cylinder. Rear end in the car has been rebuilt with new seals, bearing and fluids. The matching Sparco seats (with adjustable drivers seat) are new as well as the removable Sparco stearing wheel. The roll bar is new and current to SCCA and Sovren spec. The suspension has been upgraded with lower, stiffer springs and an upgraded sway bar with spherical rod end mounts. The Mini Lite wheels are wrapped in brand new tires and the brakes have been up graded to EBC sloted rotors. All the mechanical work to the car was performed by local vintage british car expert Robin Bee and the car has less than 2hrs on the total rebuild and new parts. It comes with an extra differential with taller gearing for getting that last little bit of speed down the front straight. All wear items and fluids serviced and replaced in the summer of 2011. There is much more invested in this car than we have as an expectation of sales price. This is a great lightweight way to get on the track and launch your hair up.
