This 2002 Honda Civic EX was totaled out by the previous owners Insurance Company and will be an easy rebuilder that will satisfy whoever wins. The damage is what can be seen and appears to have been tore down at the dealer per the Insurance Companies request because the bumper was removed when I received the car and parts in picture were in the trunk as they will be when picked up. This will show more damage that otherwise would be hidden behind bumper cover. No suspension damage, no damaged to windshield, air bags or cowl and all 4-doors swing as they should. This is not uncommon for the Insurance Company to request the vehicle be tore down for inspection when a vehicle is a border line total. This is when a car is in above average condition as this one but retail body shop labor and new parts bring the cost close to what they call a total los$. I say be glad because this puts a person in a good position to purchase a nice car that otherwise would not be offered for sale and with some bargin hunting for parts on ebay, aftermarket or used, plus if you can do the work yourself it will be a winning combination. The engine sounds great and full of clean oil no leaks, smoke or rattles and will easily drive onto trailer or tow dolly because the radiator is damaged as can be seen in pics. Everything can be seen in pictures with no hidden suprises! The overall condition is well above average and came to me in the exact same clean condition as what you see in pictures. No detailing was done or needed, someone put a lot of effort in taking extreme care of this Honda. No rust or hail dings and pics will show dry undercarriage, dry front axel boots and no rust on bottom of doors or floorpan. Passenger side doors have small scrape from prior issue but very hard to see because no paint was damaged so look close so you will be aware of this and any other scratch or ding not from accident will be classified as normal wear & tear. The interior will be what you would want also, no odor from smoking or pets and no signs of children, although it does have child proff rear door locks for your children.
