This 72 mach 1 is a rust free new mexico car it runs and drives great . The transmition shifts good as well . Brakes feel great . The engine sounds very good and has good oil pressure . The interior needs completly redone ( southwestern sun got it ) If you would like a mach 1 for restoring this would be a great one it has a very solid body no rust in quarters , doors , floor , or trunk . there is a spot by the hood hinges where it has a dubble panel if you know these cars you know what I'm talking about and that it's an easy fix . I tried showing it in the pics . The car feels like you could drive it home except for the tires being old. It's been siting so unless you are close I wouldn t try it . I have the car for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early .I may be able to deliver the car in person for a fee Please feel free and call me with any questions you may have my cell is 989-329-0541 thanks GaryOn Jun-04-12 at 08:45:46 PDT, seller added the following information: I found the tag on the engine it's on the distributor mounting bracket . 351 C 72 5 G18 K604S here are the numbers and letters on the tag engine and year match the car but the G18 K604S I have no idea the coding on the rest . It looks to be the corect engine for the car but you need check the numbers with someone that knows the rest of the coding to be sure .
