1989 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE This is a pretty cool old 5.0! Its a convertible, a 5 speed (which can be very hard to find) and completely rust free!! The body is super straight and the paint still has it shine. White paint with a red interior is also a sought after combo and the black top is recently replaced. The dash is clean and crack free. The carpet is nice and the only real flaw is the small tear in the drivers seat. The rest of the seats and door panels are exceptionally nice. Sadly i have misplaced the center console but they are available here and I'm looking for one to include. The wheels are very cool and 1 of a kind. Some call them Bullets, some call them Mach 1's. Whatever you call them at 17x10 with 295/40s they look AWESOME Cosmetically this Mustang is stock, mechanically its a different story. I previously had the original engine supercharged and although that was was great 8 years later it was time for some updated, fresh hardware. I scrapped the blower and installed a rebuilt to stock 5.0 bottom end and plucked a GT 40 top end and trans from a Cobra. Now completely naturally aspirated and fresh with 3.73 gears its running strong and is as dependable as it was in 89'. I left a cold air intake but beyond that its relatively stock. This car runs and drives well and is very fun and satisfying.
