A Local truck and started life here in Petaluma, California as a Dealer demostrator truck in 1970 for "GEORGE BUICK,PONTIAC,GMC INC." see pic for original registration card still in glove box. Second owner had truck locally in Sonoma County **garaged with a camper shell installed and never used the truck as a truck as we know. Third owner,collector had the truck stored for many years in a warehouse just keeping it clean and serviced. I have owned the truck for about a year and I too keep it garaged. Now for sale is this Beautiful 1971 GMC that has seen no accidents ever and still has the Original medium Blue/white Factory paint. Factory pin stripe option. Original California Blue License plates, All body gaps near perfect, doors close like new, windows roll up/down like new, Optional Factory wood plank bed still has original paint. In Very Nice Condition! Undercarriage original and was sprayed with protectant back in 1971. The truck runs/drives excellent and is rattle free...a very smooth ride and drives straight down the road. The truck shows no signs of any rust-through at all in the usual places, Very Clean door sills,cab corners,kick panels,doors, roof gutter,windshield gasket pinch weld area, VERY RUST FREE!! Nice original paint with some aged 41 year patina. New PUI seat, carpet and exhaust system from manifolds back. Both L/R front fenders have outer surface weathering.. ie....bad paint that will need to be addressed and repainted. The rest of the truck has nice ORIGINAL paint for its age.
