This sale is actually for 2 cars combined into one sale. CAR 1. This car is a 1965 mustang convertible which was completely dismantled after a minor rear end accident. The concept was to rebuild it from the unibody on up, so every body weld was cut and a new unibody was started. This car includes many new body parts and duplicate items (4 doors, 2 trunks, 2 hoods) and a new radiator and windshield (both in original boxes). The car was 289 has a 289 engine with a 3 speed manual transmission, a pony interior (complete and usable but worn), and the important CLEAR PA title. CAR 2. This is a unibody only which was restored in anticipation of a rebuild. The problem was that the floors were installed wrong and at one point the body is about 2" too wide. This could be easily corrected by removing the floors and installing new ones with the body held at the correct width. The inner / outer rockers, torque boxes, and all other structural components appear to be new or in very solid condition. There is a crack in the bondo (yes, some bondo) on the rear left fender which happened while moving it with a fork lift. This body does NOT have a title. These 2 cars are being combined as together there are enough parts to build a complete car. The car is in storage in Erie, PA and is available for inspection. The buyer must be able to move the car by 6/30/2012 as the building is being sold.
