Buying an ATV online can be scary. You'll notice in a lot of auctions there is very little description and very few pictures. In our auctions you get all the details, both good and bad. In addition you are always welcome to come check this quad out and ride/inspect it for yourself before the auction ends to ensure your happiness. Thanks for looking at our auction. ATV: This ATV is a 20007 Honda Recon 250 ES 4x2. These machines are outstanding do it all ATV's. They work hard, they are fun to ride and they literally last forever. They feature a bullet proof 4 stroke, air/oil cooled engine and shaft drive for low maintenance. This one is also the electric shift version. So instead of shifting gears with your foot you do so by simply pushing buttons with your thumb. This way you get the ease of use of an automatic with the reliability of a gear-driven manual. No belts to ever slip or break. Of course it does have reverse also. This is a 2 wheel drive model ATV. The 2 wheels drives are very capable machines. They work hard and will go pretty much anywhere you are willing to ride them. If you are reading this you probably know about Honda's legendary quality. We get to work on every ATV out there and the simple truth is that Honda's are simply a better made product than the competition. Condition: This machine is in great condition. Honda does not equip this model with an odometer or hour meter but based on its condition and lack of tire wear I'd assume it to have less than 40 hours of use. We normally provide lots of detail regarding the condition of our ATV's but with this one there is nothing to say. You may find a tiny scuff on it somewhere but they are few and far between. Everything on it functions exactly as it should. A new one just like this would set you back nearly $4,000. This one looks new, runs new and is a chance to get all the features you want at a great price. Accessories: We stock and install all the best ATV accessories so if you want to add a snow plow, trailer, winch, nicer wheels, etc just drop us a line. We'd be happy to help. Shipping: We do not provide shipping but many of our customers have had great luck lately with www.uship.com You can post your shipping requests there and let shippers bid on them. I will be happy to work with your shipper within reason to make it go smoothly for you. Details: Overall this is a very nice ATV that will make someone very happy. No games here, it will sell. No reserve and no “buy it now”. As for transaction details, We are MLS Powersports, located in Georgetown, Kentucky (40324). We are right off Interstate 75, 15 miles North of Lexington KY and 75 South of Cincinnati, OH. Our preference is that you pick this machine up with cash in person, but we will also accept a certified check or bank to bank wire transfer. It MUST be paid for (not necessarily picked up) within 7 days of the auctions close. We are willing to ship it but you must make the arrangements. If you pick this ATV up in person, we are required by law to charge you 6% Kentucky sales tax. We will provide the winner with a KY Certificate of Sales tax paid. When you title this ATV in your home state they WILL credit the 6% back to you and you will only have to pay the difference (if there is any) to your local sales tax (except in West Virgina) We do this all the time, do not worry, you will not have to pay sales tax twice. If you have it delivered to you, anywhere outside of Kentucky, you do not have to pay Kentucky sales tax but may still have to pay sales tax in your home state. The only other exception to this sales tax rule is a valid state exemption for farm/agricultural use. We don't need a deposit but if we ship, it must be paid in full first. This machine sold new in a state that does not title ATV's therefore it does not have a title. It does have documentation showing its legal chain of ownership and a notarized lien release. It can be titled in any state that requires titles for ATV's with a notarized Kentucky bill of sale which we will provide. You are welcome to inspect it as long and well as you like before finalizing the deal, but it is used and sells as-is. Thanks and happy bidding.
