Beautiful, well maintained, Doctor owned, 1991 Dodge Stealth R/T Twin Turbo that is practically perfect other than very low compression in one cylinder. Here is the diagnosis from the repair shop, "Labor to check out misfire. Has excessive blowby. Possibilities are a hole in the piston and/or cracked/broken rings". This Stealth was pre-ordered new by a Doctor in Portland, OR. He drove it 52K miles from 1991 until 1999 when he bought a Viper. It was then sold (via private party) to a gentleman in Southern Utah (he flew to Portland and drove it home) who treated it like gold for 13 years until the cylinder problem when he just parked it under cover. In fact, he liked it so much that he just bought a near-identical 1993 Dodge Stealth R/T Twin Turbo recently. This is the top-of-the-line Stealth for 1991. It's competitors were primarily the Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo and the Toyota Supra Turbo although it could give a lot of European Sports/GT cars a serious run for their money. I remember reading an article when they first came out calling it the "Swiss Army Knife of Sports Cars". It had everything including a Twin Turbo DOHC 320HP V6, 5 Speed Manual, All Wheel Drive, All Wheel Hydraulic Steering, Variable Dampening Suspension, ABS, High End Stereo w/Equalizer, Leather, etc. I still have the original Window Sticker from 1991 if you'd like more details on all it's bells and whistles. The owners were both mature, fastidious older gentlemen. Consequently, this Stealth is totally stock and has never been hot-rodded. The paint is all original (Firestorm Red) and looks very good for it's age. The car has zero accident history. It looks like the spare tire has never even been out of the trunk. The leather interior has been treated properly and is solid except for bolster wear on the drivers seat (pics make it look much worse than it is). The dash has minor warpage from the sun. The engine compartment is spotless. Other than the cylinder problem, everything works properly on the car except the AC, which needs to be recharged. It starts right up and runs and drives very well. I only drive it very short distances so as not to exacerbate the problem. It's really a beautiful Stealth for the right person. My name is Chris and I would be happy to answer your questions.
