Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a real RS23 1968 Plymouth GTX. The fender tag is long gone. It is by no means a Trailer Queen nor is it a Barrett Jackson Saturday night car. It is a very nice “Driver”. It was repainted a few years back, the factory Turbine Bronze Metallic”. The paint is shiny and in good shape. This is not a rust bucket, and the floors, trunk, and under hood area are solid as Sears. This GTX has all the factory “go fast” equipment such as the A-833 4-speed tranny, and the factory Dana 60 rear end with 4:10 gears. It is shifted via Hurst Vertical Gate shifter. The motor is a fresh 440 and has been warmed up with aluminum intake, Holley double pumper, cam, electronic ignition, and high volume oil pump. There are no leaks and no over heating issues whatsoever. Runs on 93 pump gas with no problems. The transmission and rear end are excellent. This GTX has headers that go into a 3” X-pipe , into Flowmasters, and finally into 2 ½” tail pipes with factory style Stainless tips. It sounds awesome. This GTX has no power steering and no power brakes, however it does have factory front discs. The front suspension could use an overhaul as it is old but working fine. I drive the car to cruise-inn’s and for rides around town with no problems. The trim is decent but shows its age. The bumpers are nice and shiny as well. Although it is not shown in the interior pic, there are the period correct Sun oil pressure and water temp gauges which are fully functional. There is also a repro electronic ‘60s style Sun Super Tach which is also functional. The odometer says 33,342 so I think its safe to say it’s probably 133,342 and the speedometer is indeed hooked up and working. It’s just a nice hot rod that you can drive as is or give it the TLC it deserves. Feel free to email me with any questions or concerns. I have nothing to hide so a personal inspection is fine with me. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. This is an old Muscle Car so it is sold as is without warranty. Please do not bid if you cannot complete the transaction. A $400 Paypal deposit is required within 48 hours of auction end. I have a clean, clear, Pennsylvania title in hand. I’m not a dealer and I’m not selling it for a friend. This is my car. I am only selling due to other financial obligations. No reserve and thanks for lookingOn May-23-12 at 13:41:13 PDT, seller added the following information: Payment to be made in U.S. funds only. Please keep in mind this is an old muscle car. It is not restored, so ask questions. Thanks. On May-24-12 at 15:55:54 PDT, seller added the following information: There is a small rust hole in the trunk pan I noticed. Nothing serious at all. Just wanted to be up front with everyone.
