I tried to figure out why the battery charge light was going down down and the check engine light was on.. There is no charge going into the power battery unless you clear the check engine light with a reset tool.. As soon as the check engine light pops back on the charge to aux battery stops. I took the car to my local Honda dealer and they told me it requires a new IMA battery module.. I have no idea what that is but I really do not have a mechanic who knows and I am sure there are all types of groups who know far better than most of what to do.. I did drive the car for a few days and it still buzzes along great just on the gas engine and still gets over 53 miles per gallon. Who even needs the electric part with that kind of mileage.. The brakes, clutch and shocks feel great.. No rattles or clunks.. Nice body as shown and smoke free cloth interior.. Great sounding stereo with CD.. Ice cold A/C .. Just traded in on a new Honda Insight is this very clean 2003 Hybrid with the 5 speed manual transmission and the 3 cylinder gas engine. I tried to figure out why the battery charge light was going down down and the check engine light was on.. There is no charge going into the power battery unless you clear the check engine light with a reset tool.. As soon as the check engine light pops back on the charge to aux battery stops. I took the car to my local Honda dealer and they told me it requires a new IMA battery module.. I have no idea what that is but I really do not have a mechanic who knows and I am sure there are all types of groups who know far better than most of what to do.. I did drive the car for a few days and it still buzzes along great just on the gas engine and still gets over 53 miles per gallon. Who even needs the electric part with that kind of mileage.. The brakes, clutch and shocks feel great.. No rattles or clunks.. Nice body as shown and smoke free cloth interior.. Great sounding stereo with CD.. Ice cold A/C .. For the people who would like to pickup their new vehicles in person, I am happy to meet you at the train or bus at South Station in Boston or Logan airport (BOS) also in Boston. We need a few days advance notice for most Boston pickups.
