You are bidding on an excellent example of a 1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia convertible. This documented California car is completely rust free and is brilliant white with a black soft top and interior. It has only 95, 235 original miles on it. It starts, runs, drives, shifts and stops excellent! It has a new 1600 cc dual port engine with a 3 speed auto-stick transmission. The drive train is completely stock and produces about 30 horse power (as it came from the factory). It has very nice Coker Classic® wide white wall tires, a rear defrost glass window (rare option) and comes complete with the original spare tire. We are also including extra oil change kits (gaskets and screens), a front end bra (never used), paperwork (receipts, etc.) and a very nice cotton indoor car cover. We have lovingly kept this car in perfect running order for 6 years. It has always been stored with the top up, a full tank of premium fuel with Stabil® and the perfect air pressure in the tires. It is not a perfect automobile: it has some items that could be, but are not required to be, attended to (cracked speedometer glass, brakes occasionally squeak, etc.). It originally took us over 4 years to find a rust free Ghia vert…they are getting more rare every day. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
