Vehicle Detail
1956 Ford F100. I bought this with the hopes of doing a restoration, but my time/money/lower back are constrained. Truck is straight, all metal, and has clean title. The front end has a Michael Thomas Mustang II kit with rack and pinion steering. The engine is a Ford 5.0 302. The tranny is Auto with OD. The truck has power steering and front disc brakes. Rear is original. Comes with Crager chrome wheels and good tires with lots of tread. Frame is straight but has surface rust. The body is great. Has no rust on normal areas (top of windshield, behind doors... all good). Paint is pretty good, but not show quality. I rate the paint a 7 out of 10. The front hood has the tilt kit installed. The rear tailgate is missing.and the rear bed is wood, but needs to be redone. The sides of the back bed are painted the body color, but have dings from use. The Good:1) Good steel body parts with little/no rust. (garage kept)2) Polished stainless steel bumpers3) Mustang 2 front end with RP steering4) Chrome grille5) Brand new Dakota dash (uninstalled, new in the box ($600 value)6) Good tires7) Front disc brakes8) Tilt kit installed9) Clear title10) Radiator good11) Ididit tilt steering column The Bad:1) Engine running rough - needs tuneup, new gas, fan cowel2) wiring kit is not great, needs electrical work3) glass - door glass broke inside door. Front and rear glass are pretty good4) Need front cross member to stiffen up front end5) missing rear tailgate6) backend is original7) Paint is not show quality (use as a daily driver)8) Interior is newer, but dated. 9) No seatbelts Please don't bid if you are not going to follow through. Please email or call with questions. The truck is being stored in Northern NJ.
