You are looking at a Very Rare well kept 1983 Porsche Euro 911SC Carrera Convertible European. VERY RARE !! This was the first time that Porsche offered its customers a true open cabriolet and only a limited number were produced. Powering the 911SC was a horizontally opposed, overhead-cam six-cylinder engine displacing 2993cc and offering 172 SAE and 190 lbs.-ft of torque. The engine was mated to a five-speed manual gearbox all factory original. Very few 911SC convertibles were brought into the USA for sale by PORSCHE USA...this is not 1 of them. This is an original EUROPEAN... with a EURO VIN#. A perfect add on to any rare collection or if you would like to drive something no one else has... This is a European Porsche that was brought to the states back when it was new. Vin #: WP0ZZZ91ZDS151383. The exterior is a burgundy color with a gray interior. Odometer shows original miles of 42,945. The A/C system was retrofitted and the rear tail installed by the original owner. It has signs of wear from over the years, but is still in great shape. The engine runs smooth and idles perfectly. Transmission shifts smooth. The wheels are not the original that came with the vehicle, but are a nice replica cup style wheel. Vehicle has no known electrical problems. The interior shows some signs of wear. The convertible top is in good shape, no tears or damage. The rear plastic window is a little foggy from being exposed, but is still in good shape & it is garage kept and covered under Hagerty collector car insurance approx $500.00 a year...FYI I have enjoyed this car for the last 4 years but need to part with it for a family camper... $18,000.00 Buys it now or we can discuss a possible trade for Slide in truck camper for my short bed F250 truck.
