It almost sold , I have lowered the reserve! I have decided to sell my 1968 MG C GT. I love the car but just don’t have the time to use it anymore. The car belonged to my local MG mechanic. I drove it home one night for him and fell in love with the car. I chased him for about a year before he agreed to sell it to me. I have owned a dozen British cars and this by far, is the one I enjoyed the most. The car was fully sorted mechanically and has been maintained by the same mechanic since I purchased the car in April of 2007. The overdrive makes long road trips a joy. I would not hesitate to drive the car anywhere. The interior is original except for the leather front seats which were replaced with the correct original style leather seat covers with white piping. The wire wheels were replaced with new Dayton chrome wire wheels with Michelin tires (2007). The body is straight but there is some minor surface rust in the outer rockers and dog legs and a few spots under body side trim. If you want a show car, you will have to deal with those spots and have it re-sprayed. Personally, it suited me just fine and I used it and enjoyed it just the way it is. The photos I am posting make the paint look better than it is in my opinion. It is an honest car and would invite anyone to come and see it in person, and prefer that if possible.
