Hello and thanks for looking. My girlfriend has told me that it is time to let go. I have owned this 1996 pickup since 1997 and it has been the best vehicle that I have ever owned. I bought this when it had roughly 12K miles on it and it has been driven almost every day since. I commute about 30 miles each way on a four lane highway so I have racked up a lot of miles on it. It has never left me broken down on the side of the road. The only things that I have had to do to it has been to replace the water pump, radiator, clutch, and shocks. The radiator was replaced about 1 year ago. It really did not fail. I left the hood prop on top of the radiator when I closed the hood and it cracked it. Other than standard maintenance..spark plugs, air filter, oil changes (tried to do about every 3K miles), tire rotations, etc. these are the only things that I have had to do to it during the time that I have owned it. I am selling this "as is". The paint is peeling but the body is in real good condition considering it's age, the tires are really good, interior is a little rough with holes in the carpet and seat. It has a Nissan bed liner in it that is in good condition. It does have a power moon roof that does not function. It could possible be fixed. There were some plastic pieces in the track that broke. It is currently kind of bolted down with some small brackets and sealent to prevent leaking. The only thing that is not original on the body is the hood. I put a big old scrape in the hood and it was replaced. The engine does have some ticking noises like most older vehicles get. It usually disappears once it warms up a few miles down the highway. I have decided to sell it because it has begun to develop difficulty into getting it into gear. It acts like it does not want to go in gear and it whines like a clutch issue . This issue continues to get worst and at this point it would probably need to be towed. I checked NAPA and a new clutch costs between 140 and 300 dollars depending on which model you get. The A/C works fine. I am at the point where I really do not want to put any money into it. This truck has served me well and it's time to part with it. It has been the best vehicle that I have ever owned. Someone with a need to haul a few things now and then and a little mechanical ability could make this into a nice work truck. Please note that I will remove the stereo but will leave the speakers so there will be a hole in the dash from where the radio was removed. It was last inspected in December and has never had any problems with passing emissions testing. I have tried to be as detailed and honest with my description. It is being sold "as is". I hope to find this little truck a good home. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time because I have the truck advertised locally for sale.
