Vehicle Detail

This is an Arizona vehicle and has been most of its life so there is no cancer to speak of. The Title is free and clear, it is in my name and I have it in hand. I was building this bad boy a few years back for off roading but money got tight, etc, you know the usual story. I had to actually end up using this as my daily driver for a while, I just used a waiver to get around emissions as I had previously removed all of the emissions equipment to free up all the horse power I could. After getting another vehicle, my Toy got put on the back shelf and sat in the back yard for about 2 years. I always had the intentions of finishing the project but it didn’t happen. I'm moving to a different state and I'm not going to drag this truck across the country so it can just sit in my backyard again. It pains me to get rid of this because it's an awesome truck. I know I'm going to regret selling it but I'd rather see it go to a good home instead of watching it rot in my backyard. It's a little monster off road. I've put some of the big boy's to shame on a few occasions. I wish I had taken videos or more pics of the places I've taken this thing. Anyways, on to the mods. I had the engine rebuilt professionally by Monster Mike's Garage here in Tucson. He builds a lot of the engines used in the Modified Stock Cars at the local tracks. He does great work and has great reputation. He put in a slightly aggressive cam, I don’t know the specs on the cam, sorry but you can definitely tell it's there. I installed Doug Thorley headers to a custom exhaust tucked deep up under the truck to keep it out of the rocks. I installed a Weber 38 DGES Outlaw racing carburetor with an electric marine fuel pump that flows the perfect PSI for the Weber. It also has a larger then stock radiator to deal with AZ heat and an electric fan. It has a 5 speed manual transmission with an R-1 Stage 2 clutch installed. The bed is bobbed. This truck started out as a long bed. I can’t tell you how many times the bobbed bed has come in handy for climbing steep inclines. Where another truck would have drug its bumper or bed this truck just rolled on with no problems. The welding on this has not been completed. The sides are done but the weld across the bed needs to be completed, it shouldn’t take more than a few minutes for an experienced welder to complete it. It is secured in place with the side welds; I drove it around as is for over a year with no issues, the side welds hold great, just need to finish the bed weld. The truck has a 2 inch body lift and flip shackles in the rear. The flip shackles are custom made and heavy duty. I have a pair for the front but the front needs longer springs before they can be installed. The truck rides on 33" tires that are in great shape with plenty of tread left. The truck comes with a 33" spare, a hi-lift farm jack and a custom steel front bumper that hasn’t been attached yet. The truck also comes with all of the original parts that I removed. The stock carb, all emissions equipment and all the miscellaneous parts I removed. It even has the AC compressor still attached to the engine as I had plans to reconnect the AC. If you wanted you could use these parts to make the truck street legal again. Check out the video below to get a tour and see it run. Because the truck sat so long, the gaskets in the carb have dry rotted and that will need a rebuild. That is why I have the RPM's running around 2k, it's getting too much air with the bad gaskets and I had to give it some extra fuel. This carb is very simple and can be easily rebuilt by anyone with just a little mechanical knowledge. This truck isn't far from being trail ready again and it's a blast to drive. Who ever gets this truck I would like to stay in contact with so I can see how it turns out and hear all the good times they're having with my old Tonka Toy. The buyer is responsible for shipping.
