Vehicle Detail

1971 Non-Sunroof Porsche 911T with just over 139k miles, Weber carbs with K&N filters. I am happy to help with shipping, as long has the buyer arranges everything. This car is a good driver, but not perfect. The 911 is mostly original, with a re-spray to silver (from light blue) in the early 90s. The re-paint was not a good job, and is what lets the car down. Its a good 5-footer, and still looks great going down the road. The interior carpets are past their prime, and the 15" Fuchs could do with a paint & polish. The door pockets are in the trunk.Despite the paint, the car has good floors & trunk. Has sheepskin seat covers on the front, but the upholstery is in good shape. Includes the original working Blaupunkt radio. All of the lights (including interior), gauges, signals etc work, with the exception of the clock. The engine & transmission were rebuilt, along with a new clutch, about 5k miles ago (records included) by Jerry's European in Pennsauken, NJ. They also replaced the front struts & brakes about 4k miles before that. The car runs & drives well, but the Weber carbs will need a bit of a clean or tune. Recent service (plugs wires cap rotor etc). The 911 is a great driver, and could be driven while perfectly restored to double its value. This car is a nice opportunity to buy a classic Porsche that will only increase in value. I've embedded 30 large detailed photos, which should be used as part of the description. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. On May-21-12 at 10:14:17 PDT, seller added the following information: At the request of several interested parties, I have taken additional photos. There are several layers of undercoating under the car, and you can see in some areas it is peeling off. The trunk is rust free, and the jacking points are good. I've also taken better photos of the door jambs and hinge area. The original color is 2020 Pastel Blue.
