As far as I know this car has had only 2 owners. My dad traded cars with his friend back in the late 60´s and my dad bought the car back from him in 1992. My dad took it down and had the interior upholstered and a new top installed. He was not into restoring cars and just wanted the car to look nice and be able to drive it whenever he liked. So, he had the interior done in black vinyl and a few years later had a nice paint job put on the car with the same color scheme. He loved this car and drove it frequently. He passed away a couple of years ago and I have been the one that takes it for a weekend drive every now and then. The car is not show quality but it is nice looking and fun to drive. Before passing, my dad had some exhaust and radiator work done. The car has not had any body work done to the best of my knowledge and I know for certain that it has not been in any accidents.
