Scarce W107 model with the strong 2.8 liter straight six motor, rated at 200 HP. Euro bumpers, lights, and body otherwise like the common 380SL [which only gets 150 HP]. Soft top is one year old, and hard top can be changed out by two people. Good tires, battery, etc. and well maintained with new stainless exhaust system; I would not hesitate to drive the car across the country. Will get 24 mpg. A few blemishes but a very good looker still. Rust-free. Leather seats in great shape. Car has the optional rear seat setup also. Radio has been replaced by modern CD receiver. The ABS light on the dash is on, and has been since I've owned the car. However, it has always braked well for me so I have ignored the thing. NOTE: I had to click the "1980" box because Ebay balked at the correct year, 1982. This is a Euro model, and Mercedes lists the car correctly. Ask any questions early enough that I can get you an answer quickly. Buyer is responsible for shipping and all arrangements and costs associated with shipping but I will do what I can to meet the shipper and see the car off safely. You are welcome to pick the car up in person. There are several nice transport services, many of which are very reasonable, but buyer is likely to opt to drive it home. I will say that driving this car around with the top down is a great experience. Wife has a late model SL also and we ust don't have the room for this one anymore. This car does not have rust; I neglected to mention the topic, since cars do not normally rust out here on the West coast. But this is a concern for other parts of the country.
