1970 Dodge Challenger 440 R/T Numbers Matching This auction is for a 1970 Dodge Challenger 440 R/T with all numbers matching. Has been parked in a garage for over nine years. It was running at the time it was parked but now it doesn't start. We are not sure why it isn't starting but should be something minor. The engine is a 440 and has been modified and bored .60 over. It has Hemi ground cam heads that are ported,polished and decked. The car has Nitrous Oxide. The transmission is a 727 with a cheetah valve bodyand a 3500 stall converter. The rear end has a Dana limited slip installed. The car has some minor rust located in the rear lower quarter panels and in the trunk pan. Seats are original but need to be reupholstered.We require a $1000 down payment within 48 hours after auction ends. Rest of payment will be due when the buyer picks up the car. The final payment will need to be in cash or bank check. We can process through PayPal but buyer will have to cover the PayPal fee which is 5% of the purchase price. In no case would we accept a personal check. Delivery of vehicle can be arranged for additional fee. Reserve on this car has been lowered after last auction failed to bring a buyer. With all the interest it received, it should have no problem reaching that reserve and selling. Don't miss out!
