428ci/360HP V8 4bbl, Turbo Hydra-Matic Transmission, Safety Track Rear Axle, Power/Tilt Steering w/Power Disc Brakes. Purchased in 2006 from 2nd owner who was with the car's original owner when purchased new from dealership. Only 7,358 built. Originally a garaged Colorado car with 79K original miles, until 2006 when I bought it and relocated it to Central Texas where it remained covered. Absolutely no rust and body is extremely straight with clean chrome. Power top operates perfectly. In the past five years the following have been either overhauled or replaced new: Convertable Top; brakes; dual exhaust; suspension rubber; shocks; weatherstripping rubber (trunk, doors, & top rails; window felts/channels; radiator; Goodyear Eagle GT tires (<3K mi.) mounted on reconditioned GM Rally wheels. Interior was removed and passenger compartment sealed & re-lined/insulated; installed new carpet and fully reupholstered seats, door, kick & side panels. Custom/new top & boot cover. Comes with: fitted car cover; 1968 Dealer's Service Manual & 1968 Body by Fisher Service Manual. She's not perfect, the original paint needs updating, but runs very strong with the rare 428ci/360HP V8, is extremely mechanically reliable and turns heads on the road. She starts like clockwork.
