06 Toyota Sienna. I have owned this car since a bought it newin Oct 2006. I got a 100K bumper to bumper warranty as all my priorcars had significant problems in the first 100K miles.Other than the catalytic converter which was replace at about80K (the engine light was the only indication of a problem)and was covered under the manufactures warranty, therewere only a few minor problems in the first 100K. One wasa baring in the steering and another was a misfiring cylinderagain the only indication of the later was the engine light being on.I also replaced the timing belt and water pump at about 92K.This is the recommended time to replace the timing beltand Toyota suggested changing the water pump at thesame time since replacing it separately if it wentwould be much more expensive. This replacementwas about $1000 This has been my most enjoyable vehicle. It nowhas 113K on it. Originally I bought It because of the children.However a few have moved out in the last year so I started to thinkabout whether I should trade it in or keep it until 200k. There hadBeen a slight noise I had noticed for a few months andfigured I would check it out. My mechanicsaid the noise was coming from the differential. I took it toa transmission specialist and then to Toyota bothof which said the transmission has to be replaced. Howeverthey couldn’t tell how long it could go until it went. I findthe transmission shifts as easily as when I bought the car. So rather than having to deal with a transmission and sinceI no longer need a van I would like to sell it. It has somenicks particularly on the bumpers and some paint peeledoff on the driver side real corner . These can be seen inthe pictures. A little over a year and a half ago the car was rear ended it did not affect anything mechanical, its has been driven over 40K since then without any problems, the parts were replacedwith original toyota parts.
