this is the deal, two of our daughters have graduated in the last couple years and this is the first time in 20 years we are going to get something other than a minivan. This vehicle runs and drives but is in need of some work and that is why im letting go for a low reserve so do not bid on this expecting a perfect riding ride (does run very good though) . I recently had a local shop go over the terraza and this is what they said it needs. Sway bar bushings are bad and are close to metal on metal, abs/traction light was coming on and they said it was a sensor in bearing they fixed it and light has not come on since but needs replacing (i have a new bearing with sensor i will include) the rear clunks and they said that is a knuckle or something like that we had one side replaced a few months ago so i assume its the other side? Also needed a new tierod end wich we replaced. The battery is weak and tires should be replaced soon. Other minor things like a few small cuts/tears in interrior, a few spots of rust starting to show and a latch here and there are broke this all may sound like alot but for a backyard mechanic or someone who has friend or relative who can fix these or most could have all done for resonable price, our estamate for mechanicle work was 1,100 to have done at shop so take into account this when bidding. On the good side this van is loaded and still looks sharp our kids love the dvd player and the leather is great for keeping clean i have specified everything i know of and as i said my reserve will be lower than book value and this could be a great deal for the right person/family.
