This is a recently built 1949 Crosley done in an early gasser/altered style. Custom 2x4 rectangular tube frame, full roll cage,1949 Ford rear end and brakes, 4 link rear suspension , Ford tube axle front suspension with disc brakes, Corvair steering gear. Sold NO RESERVE !! Engine is a 215 cubic inch Olds aluminum V8, 11:1 compression,Isky cam and valve train,Holley carb,balanced, drag oil pan, Mallory ignition Trans is close ratio Muncie, aluminum flywheel,new clutch and hydraulic throw-out bearing Car is titled and licensed for the street in Michigan, and has driven to some local shows - but, it is very loud and warm to drive. Would make a good street car with a little muffling and sound insulation (and a rear floor...). Has never been raced. Has been featured in magazines and GoodGuys gazette. Attract a LOT of attention wherever it goes, and sounds awsum ! Runs and stops great and goes straight. Body is in light gray primer, and shows many years of dents but no rust - needs a LOT of work before finish paint if you choose to go that way. Plexiglass windows Sold as is, where is. Has a custom tow bar (removable) so you can tow it home - light weight (1800 lbs) Sorry - the seats are from an Austin Healy I'm restoring and don't go with the car. I will throw in an aluminum racing seat, though
