This Mini would be perfect for anyone who needs a daily driver or someone who wants to Auto-X when needed. I have driven this car across the country on 4 separate occasions now, every time without a single issue. I am actually planning a trip to Virginia and back in July and if I don't sell this on here, she will be making the trip again! I am looking to sell or trade this car simply because I am bored, 7 years is a long time and I am ready for some change in my life. I am also interested in trading for older VW Bugs (1959-1966). I have the original key fob and one original spare. The key works fine but you need a new electronic part to unlock the car with out putting the key in, I have seen them on eBay for $15-40.This does have minor rock chips on the front of the hood from all the interstate driving. The hydraulic power steering pump went out on me a few years ago (very, very common problem with Mini's and BMW's), and I never replaced it. I just unplugged the power to it and left it as is. It's an easy fix, lots of how to's online, I just have not felt like putting the cash into it. (this car has no power steering)I don't have the rear seats anymore, sold them 4 years ago so I could keep my bicycle in the back.There is a crack down the front windshield that has been there for a few years, did NOT spiderweb. There is a small dent on the bottom part of the hatch, no paint is missing and could probably be bent back if needed (see the pictures)Does not need brakes yet, but I do have all new brake pads for it.I also have an extra belt to throw in for when you wanna change that.The headliner was coming unglued on the driver and passenger sides, and when I attempted to glue it back, the headliner glue showed through the thin material, so I took the headliner down and recovered it with Superman comic material. If it bothers you, you may just want to get a new one from Mini. I also painted the pillars satin black to match the headliner as well as the rest of the car, again, you can get factory Anthracite pillars from Mini if you wanted them.This needs new tires all around, I never got these aligned when I got the new tires, so they worn unevenly and are showing some threads on the insides (showing threads on rear tires).The airbag light is on, I do not know why, It came on after I had replaced the battery, I am sure a dealership could turn it off if it bothers you.The check engine light is also on, I have reset it many times but keeps popping up, it's been reoccurring for a little over a year now, the code is P0455 and from what I can see in the forums is from the seal on the gas cap, which does look like it needs to be replaced, again, only if the light bothers you. I also have various Mini specific tools I will throw in with the sale including oil change wrench for the canister filter, a belt removal tool so you can replace the belt yourself, brake piston tool so you can change your own brakes and I am sure a few other nick nacks I am forgetting at the moment.The rims alone are worth around $1500 without tires. These rims are all sequential serial numbered from Work in Japan and have not been made in quite a few years and you will NOT find them in this size or with a 4x100 lug pattern, I promise you! Try me!I know this car is not perfect but she runs good, gets good gas mileage, is a true head turner and I get complimented on her looks almost on a daily basis. You won't see another Mini with a stance or attitude like this.The title is clean and clear, no salvage, no liens, no issues. This car i also still registered in Virginia, fore I just recently moved to Long Beach and have never switched it over. THIS CAR IS BEING SOLD AS-IS, NO REFUNDS, NO RETURNS.
