1956 Oldsmobile Super 88 1956 Oldsmobile Super 88 Vintage Autohaus is proud to present for sale this very, very nicely body off “ Nut and bolt” restored 1956 Oldsmobile Super Dynamic 88 Convertible. This fantastic convertible in a stunning example of the very popular 88 olds line of cars with professionally applied Body Code correct Red and White two-tone. Body is in exceptional shape, shows no signs of repair or rust. Car magnets very well. The chassis has been sandblasted, acid etch primed and urethane black paint applied. The interior is totally new original style red and white vinyl. The top is also new in white and correct material. Engine is original and rebuilt 324-4V Rocket V8 is 240HP. Also the four-speed Jetaway Hydra-Matic transmission is rebuilt in is perfect working. Every piece of the undercarriage is painted correct or in correct metal finish. All chrome is new or original re-plated. All original parts are in very nice shape, show well and a few have very minor blemishes. Dash is all newly re-chromed and all gauges work. Clock does not work. This classic Olds also has new white-wall tires, disc brakes and a new windshield. We are very excited to have this car because it represents the bar we strive for everyday and we are confident it will bring its new owners many miles of smiles.
