APPROXIMATELY 1128 OF THESE CARS WERE MADE TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE. THIS EXAMPLE WAS SOLD NEW AT WESTON PONTIAC/GMC IN GRESHAM, OREGON, JUST OUTSIDE THE CITY OF PORTLAND. IT IS A CARFAX CERTIFIED CAR WITH AN EXCELLENT SERVICE HISTORY, AND RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL STICKERS INCLUDING THE VIN STICKERS ON FENDERS, HOOD, DOORS, QUARTER PANELS, AND DECKLID, SHOWING THAT IT RETAINS ALL OF ITS FACTORY BODY PANELS. THE CAR STARTS UP AND DRIVES DOWN THE ROAD BEAUTIFULLY. STANDARD FEATURES INCLUDE: SUPERCHARGED 3.8 LITER V6, AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, AIR CONDITIONING, POWER WINDOWS, POWER DOOR LOCKS, POWER MIRRORS, TILT WHEEL, CRUISE CONTROL, DIGITAL INFORMATION DISPLAY, INTERMITTENT WINDSHIELD WIPERS, ONSTAR, AIRBAGS, REAR DEFROSTER, DRIVING LAMPS, HEAD'S UP DISPLAY, POWER MOON ROOF, HEATED DRIVER'S SEAT, BOSE AM/FM/CD PLAYER, AND LOTS MORE. New for 2002 was a $2,695 40th Anniversary option package which included the NASCAR-inspired rear spoiler and roof fences, polished dual-outlet exhaust tips, hood with heat extractors, and 15-spoke chrome wheels previously offered with the 2001 Special Edition package. Unique elements such as the Dark Cherry Metallic paint, 40th Anniversary badges, and Ruby Red and Graphite interior trim with the 40th Anniversary logo embroidered on the front seats and floormats differentiated this option package from the previous year's offering. IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE ITEMS, THIS CAR HAS HAD VERY TASTEFUL AUTO METER GAUGES ADDED FOR BOOST AND OIL PRESSURE. THEY BLEND IN ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFULLY AND LOOK 100% FACTORY. (THEY MAY BE) BOTH APPEAR TO FUNCTION CORRECTLY. THE CAR APPEARS TO HAVE HAD SOME CUSTOM SOUND EQUIPMENT THAT WAS ADDED AT SOME POINT, AND IT STILL RETAINS SOME OF THE WIRING. THIS COULD EASILY BE REMOVED IF WAS NOT GOING TO BE USED. OVERALL, THE CAR IS BEAUTIFUL, SHOWING VERY WELL. IT HAS LOW MILEAGE FOR THE YEAR, CONSIDERING THE NATIONAL AVERAGE OF 15,000 PER YEAR. THE DARK CHERRY METALLIC PAINT SHINES BEAUTIFULLY AND HAS A DEEP, BEAUTIFUL GLOSS. THE CAR WAS JUST PROFESSIONALLY DETAILED. ASIDE FROM SOME VERY MINOR SCRATCHES AND A FEW ROCK CHIPS THAT HAVE BEEN PROFESSIONALLY TOUCHED UP, IT LOOKS VERY NICE. THE INTERIOR IS VERY CLEAN, ODOR FREE, AND PRESENTS WELL. THE DRIVER'S SEAT EDGE HAS MINOR WEAR AND A "FLAT" SPOT ON THE SIDE BOLSTER IN THE LEATHER WHERE SOMEONE HAS GOTTEN IN AND OUT. THE CAR HAS A REMOTE FOR THE KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM BUT IT CURRENTLY DOES NOT WORK. THE RADIO FUNCTIONS GREAT BUT THE DISPLAY IS INTERMITTENT. LUCKILY THE "HEADS UP DISPLAY" WORKS GREAT, AND IT SHOWS THE RADIO STATION YOU'RE ON WHEN USING THE SEEK OR SCAN BUTTONS, ALONG WITH YOUR CURRENT SPEED. ALL GLASS IS IN VERY NICE CONDITION WITH ONE OR TWO SMALL STONE CHIPS IN THE FRONT WINDSHIELD. TRUNK AREA IS ROOMY AND CLEAN, BUT THERE IS NO COMPACT TEMPORARY SPARE TIRE. THE CENTER COVER HAS SOME MORE WEAR AND TEAR. AFTERMARKET ALTEZZA TYPE TAIL LAMP ASSEMBLIES HAVE BEEN ADDED AND LOOK AND FUNCTION JUST GREAT. A LITTLE ABOUT ME.
