Up for sale is my classic 1969 VW Westfalia Camper Bus, aka, Combi, Westy, Pop Top. etc. I have owned this classic for 20 years and have driven many highway miles in search of fine fishing lakes, canyons, rivers and streams....all in the dry summer months. Always maintained and always garaged when not in use. This has been my "camper" and not driven for anything else. ie: running kids to the store. Non cigarette smoker, always cleaned after use. It is super clean. The bus has 86,000 original miles and a freshly rebuilt motor that runs as new. 7500 miles on the motor, clutch and breaks, tires etc. The 4 speed manual transmission works as new. AM/FM CD player with 4 speakers Digital Tachometer (added) In the last four years, I have had the bus: *professionally repainted (2009) *professionally rebuilt VW 1600cc motor with all new OEM parts. It has 7500 miles on the new motor and runs excellent. *new clutch and bearings, works as new. The gear box is a manual 4 speed transmission. Works as new. *new tie rods, bearings, ball joints, seals etc. Drives and steers very well. *tires have 7500 miles and are Goodyear Radial, white walls, with a great ride. *new muffler 7500 miles *new breaks 7500 miles *new front windshield and rubber seal (all new seals in all but one window, 2009) *new cabin mats and floor rubber all new around the seats. The interior is stock and in very nice condition for its age. It has that great patina you will only find in a classic. The exterior is beautiful and turns heads everywhere I travel. All interior lights work as new. The bed is in very good shape and is very comfortable. The table, sink and fridge are all in very good condition and all work well. There is no stove, but I use a Coleman which I believe is the way to go. The pop top has a couple of tears, but works well. An easy fix or use as is. This is a very well maintained, great running, fantastic looking piece of art. I hate to say good bye but the time has come to let someone else enjoy her.
