RARE CONDITION 1972 Mercedes 220 sedan. Comes with CLEAR Georgia title. Car has lived in Georgia all its life and has been in my family for the last 31 years. It is a true survivor with 90% of its original paint intact. Of coarse there are several small blemishes and one larger blemish hard to see on left front fender that have been touched up over the years, but paint is still amazing for it's age. My uncle always had car garage kept and only used it as a weekend car. Over the years, this has helped preserve the originality of the car. There is NO RUST inside or out, and car has been regularly maintained with new water pump, fuel pump, voltage regulator, ignition parts, suspension parts, brake parts, reconditioned radiator, and updated WEBER CARB CONVERSION. I still have the original Stromberg carb the car came with. Just let me know if you want it for concoarse restoration. Unfortunately, CAR DOES NOT RUN. Head gasket was blown about a year ago and engine is frozen from sitting for too long. These old cars are notorious for sticking piston rings. Engine has never been rebuilt, so because of age of car, engine could probably be freshened up. I am including almost all of the parts needed to do a full engine restoration including: new oversized 88mm MAHLE piston set with rings and wrist pins new OE upper and lower engine gasket sets new OE timing chain, chain tensioner assembly, chain guides, and crank chain sprocket new OE sodium filled exhaust valve set and valve seals new OE oil pump assembly new spare distributor caps, rotors, points, and spark plugs new spare bulbs, belts, air filter, and oil filters In addition there is also new OE windshield gasket, new carb rebuild kit, new U-joint kit, new exhaust hanger, Stromberg mounting flange and intake tube, belt pulley with belt tensioner assembly, and original York AC compressor in good working condition with mounting bracket and hardware. Large pack of documents includes parts and repair receipts, Weber carb conversion manual, spare parts catalogs, and reference materials.
