This wonderful Porsche 911 is in great condition. Don't let the high mileage scare you, this motor pulls strong and compression test when purchased 18 months ago all cylinders’ were over 175psi in all 6 cylinders’. It has been a daily drive in California for 3 owners. It has been solely in California until 2/2011 and move to our house in Texas. It has been garaged and not driven much since. It has been well cared for several car fanatics and her condition reflects this. Moving and less garage space, so she must go. Stereo is in great working order with satellite radio (non-stock). Clutch is good and tranny shift flawlessly. No rust, as you can see from photo’s paint is amazing for original paint for this era. The exterior color is a rare Baltic Blue. Interior is a 7 on scale 10, no damage but white carpet and seats are a challenge to keep looking fresh. Cold Air Condition. Targa top in excellent condition. The 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa presented for sale was manufactured during the month of September 1988 and remains a very nice original example of the last batch of the highly desirable 3.2 G-50 Cars. Only 860 US bound Targas were built for the 1989 model year. This Porsche comes with its factory books the original merlot vinyl pouch, service records up to 1997. From 2001 on the car's second owner gave us service records for the past decade and total $4,755.98. Additionally, clutch and throw out bearings had been replaced on 3/5/2010 with 196,944 miles. Its GETRAG G-50 5-speed transmission with its Borg Warner synchromesh system certainly can handle Carrera motor torque, the hydraulic clutch ensures ease of operation. The tranny shifts flawlessly!!! Dash layout is pure, classic 911, with large white-on black VDO gauges - they all work. This special-order color has no blemishes like dings, dents, scratches or bubbles. A few very small rock chips have been carefully touched up.
