Introduced in 1969, Triumph's TR-6 retained the chassis specifications of the TR-5 along with the attractive, newly designed Karmann body. Many of our photos were taken at the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Musem, located only minutes from our showroom. If you find yourself in Dallas, Texas, be sure to visit our friends at the Flight Museum. The exterior showcases a freshly painted beautiful red finish. Not the original color, the new red finish showcases this TR6s straight dry climate solid body. The 3 owner car has always lived in the south. Triumph's TR-6 holds its own in the classic British Sports car arena. Not only are these cars tastefully designed, they are fast and very fun to drive. The carburetor was adjusted, there was a new clutch slave cylinder installed, the radiator was removed cleaned and reinstalled, new valve cover gaskets were installed, and much more. Under the hood is the reliable inline 6 cylinder engine. This example features twin Zenith carburetors and is paired with the 4-speed manual gearbox. The engine compartment itself is clean and detailed throughout, displaying regular maintanence and care. We have receipts totaling almost $7000. in cosmetic and mechanical repairs done in the past year. The interior features simple bucket seating, recently recovered. and sport-oriented round gauges. The dash features the factory speedometer and tachometer, both functional. New top installed just this past February . The plastic windows are clear . The top fastens correctly in position and lowers with ease. This Triumph is also equipped with a full tonneau cover and convertible top boot. The factory 15-inch steel wheels are wrapped in 205/70R15 all-season radial tires in excellent condition all around. The door panels are upholstered in black vinyl. The the door undersides are clean and solid. The undercarriage features solid flooring throughout, indicative of a dry climate example. TAX, TITLE AND LICENSE We are a licensed Texas dealership. It is required that we collect all tax, title and license fees from Texas residents at the time of the sale. We will do all of the title work. Non Texas residents are responsible for paying taxes in his/her state. Overseas customers will be charged a $30.00 fee for wire transfers. We must collect a vehicle inventory tax of .002259% and a small documentary fee of $75.00 on ALL sales. SHIPPING The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. We can refer you to a number of national and international shippers. Once the vehicle leaves our dealership, we will take no further responsibility for the vehicle.
